Red Day 2019

This week’s #winnerscircle doesn’t feature a recent win about a recent purchase or sale we negotiated. Rather, we’re celebrating a core belief held by The Home Experience Group, and our powering company of Keller Williams. That is serving our community! We believe that one of the greatest experiences is giving back, so we partnered with other real estate agents, teams and groups at our office to serve our local community! Each year on the second Thursday of May, the entirety of the Keller Williams enterprise participates in a one day serving event known as RED Day. RED Day, standing for Renew, Energize and Donate, is part of Keller Williams goal of creating a legacy worth leaving. We’ve had the privilege to serve each year on RED Day, and were excited to return to Camp Kiloqua in Stanwood to help lighten their workload! Members from The Home Experience Group, with approximately 35 other members from Keller Williams PNW split into groups to set up tents, build horse troughs, spread wood chips at the ropes course, weed the garden, build a greenhouse, and clean the dining hall. We were a part of the gardening team that was weeding flower beds and constructing a greenhouse. After three hours, the flowerbeds were nearly eliminated of weeds, and we had a good start of ridding the walkways of them as well. Although we didn’t complete the greenhouse in that time, we were pleased to hear that other project areas had great results! It was the first RED Day for our Marketing Coordinator, Elyse. She’s a big outdoors girl, but found that she enjoyed the camaraderie of the agents and the feeling of everyone coming together more. She said the highlight was forging and strengthening friendships with agents from our office, and also the camp staff. We love serving and meeting the needs of our local communities, and that’s an element we regularly implement in our business. Our highest priority is to ensure that the needs of our clients are met, and we can guarantee that we will go the extra mile to make sure they are!
